Microfiber clean cloth is divided into two types: woven and knitted:
Knitted ultra-fine fiber dust-free cloth is generally knitted with polyester-cotton composite ultra-slender fibers in two machines. When woven, the ultra-fine fiber dust-free cloth is generally woven from polyester-cotton composite ultra-slender fibers.
There are the following differences between ordinary knitted fabrics and ordinary woven fabrics.
Knitted fabric:
1. Weaving: The yarn is bent into loops in turn, and the loops are connected in series to form a fabric. The process of forming loops from yarns can be carried out transversely or longitudinally. The stitch is the basic unit of the knitted fabric, and the stitch is composed of the stitch and the extension line in the space curve.
2. Features: The knitted fabric is composed of hole-shaped coils, which has greater air permeability, soft hand feel, can be extended, and good elasticity.
3. Physical and mechanical properties of the fabric: including longitudinal density, transverse density, square meter weight, elongation, elasticity, breaking strength, wear resistance, hemming, thickness, detachability, shrinkage, coverage and stacking density.
Woven fabric:
1. Weaving: A fabric is woven from two or more perpendicular yarns at a 90-degree angle. The longitudinal yarn is called warp yarn, and the transverse yarn is called weft yarn. Each intersection between warp and weft is called a weaving point, which is the basic unit of woven fabrics.
2. Features: Because the relationship between the warp and weft of the woven fabric and the shrinkage rate is not large and unchanged, the fabric is generally tight and hard.
3. Physical and mechanical properties of woven fabrics: including yarn density of warp and weft, selvage, front and back sides, positive and negative wool and fabric coverage.
Woven microfiber dust-free cloth is more suitable for the surface of precision equipment, without damaging the surface of the equipment, and suitable for softer and more brittle objects with physical characteristics.
However, due to the tight fibers, the woven microfiber dust-free cloth can better deal with oily and water-based stains and absorb more stains without damaging the product surface. Proper hardness also helps to completely remove stubborn stains.
